Civilized CEO and Publisher challenges cannabis consumers to ‘stand and be counted’

International speaking tour kicks off in United Kingdom

Los Angeles, CA and Saint John, NB (May 22, 2018) Today in London, UK – The introduction of a progressive new approach to cannabis legislation in North America is expediting the arrival of a modern, responsible cannabis culture and empowering cannabis consumers to live more authentic lifestyles, Civilized CEO and Publisher Derek Riedle remarked to delegates of Canna-Europa in London today.

“Civilized is working to educate, engage and highlight the changing face of cannabis, but until some of the millions of motivated and productive consumers allow themselves to stand and be counted, this industry – and all related business opportunities – will be held back by stigma and outdated stereotypes,” Riedle said, calling on consumers to identify themselves. “Cannabis needs a role model.

Riedle’s UK appearance marks the first of an international speaking tour that includes the Canna-Mexico World Summit in Mexico City, and Lift & Co. Cannabis Expo and O’Cannabiz in Toronto.

His tour concludes with the World Cannabis Congress in Saint John, NB in June. Presented by Civilized, the World Cannabis Congress is a premiere event where cannabis industry leaders from around the world will connect, share insight and engage in conversations that will help shape and advance our industry.
