The state of Ohio is still working out rules for how to handle their medical marijuana industry, but it appears one thing that will be included is a ban on non-patients entering dispensaries. New regulations set to take place in Ohio will prevent anyone who is not a registered medical marijuana patient or caregiver from entering a cannabis dispensary once legal medical sales begin. If you are not a registered medical marijuana patient who goes to a dispensary with someone who is a patient, you will be required to stay in a designated waiting area while the registered patient looks at and purchases their products. The law does allow service personnel, such as plumbers or electricians, to enter dispensary areas as long as they sign in and only work on whatever they're supposed to.
