Women Get In Formation For Beyoncé Scholarship

Ladies, it’s time to get in formation to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Beyoncé’s album “Lemonade”. The singer added to the celebrations by announcing her Formation Scholars awards for the 2017-2018 academic year. Four scholarships will be awarded to incoming, current, or graduating  women studying creative arts, music, literature, or African-American studies. The scholarships will be awarded by select schools including Berklee College of Music, Howard University, Parsons School of Design, and Spelman College. The program was created “to encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident.”
