Wiz Khalifa Shows Off His Generous Spirit With The Paparazzi

It appears Wiz Khalifa was in the giving mood last week, when he was captured passing around handfuls of his own personalized cannabis strain to paparazzi.

The 29-year-old rapper was first spotted leaving West Hollywood’s Catch restaurant with a bag full of cannabis and a large gold grinder on full display.

In footage obtained by TMZ, Khalifa proceeds to start rolling a joint in his silver Impala while chatting with the assembled paparazzi.

“You’re going to miss somebody else coming out of there filming me rolling weed,” Khalifa says on camera.

A photographer then calls out Khalifa’s name, to which he replies: “Oh, you want some?” before passing the man a generous handful of bud.

Khalifa proceeds to hand out samples to several other photographers.

When someone asks what strain it is, Khalifa reveals it’s his own Khalifa Kush. The photographer replies: “Man, I can smell it from here!”

“Of course you can smell it,” says Khalifa. “This is some good shit.”

The star’s Khalifa Kush line, also known as KK, was made on April 20 of this year and is available for purchase in dispensaries.

Khalifa has been open about his passion for cannabis on several occasions. During a 2010 interview, he told MTV: “When I was younger, I thought [weed] was bad, but I got to a point where it worked for me.”

He added that he thought the world would be a “better place” if California completely legalized the drug, which he says it will vote to do November 8.

Last December, America officially legalized hemp with the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill. The new law is a game-changer for the agricultural industry in America as farmers can now start growing and selling the non-intoxicating cannabis crop across the country. But it will be a while before the United States can top the world's biggest hemp producer.
