What Would Happen If You Smoked Weed In Space?

Smoking weed is easy; you pack the cannabis of your liking into a smoking device of your liking and light up. Maybe this is so simple only because we live on Earth. Smoking weed might not be as easy anywhere else because the atmosphere is unique to each planet, so lighting fire certainly changes depending on where you are. So what would happen if you smoked weed in space?

Well, forget about the fire, because you might not actually even be able to get high in space because some researchers believe that the radiation in space affects your high. While living on Earth, its magnetic field blocks these cosmic rays and radiation from interfering with the endocannabinoid receptors in the hippocampus part of the human brain. Outside of Earth, these rays are free of any magnetic force, which can then affect sleep, mood, appetite, energy level, and memory just like cannabis, so smoking in space would only mess with the unique high experience associated with marijuana.

Latest.

While most trends seem to move towards safer and more well-protected activities for children, this might be the wrong approach when it comes to playgrounds. At least, that’s what a recent video from Vox’s By Design series, which explores the concept of “adventure parks,” argues. "They can play with any dangerous tool, they can take really dangerous risks and overcome them, and this builds up a tremendous sense of self-confidence in themselves," Marjory Allen, landscape architect and the person most responsible for popularizing the adventure park concept, said in an archival interview.
