On Nov. 3, Ohio residents will vote on three ballot initiatives. The first one is about redistricting, but the second and third ones are crucial to the future of cannabis legalization in the state. Issue 3 paves the way for an exclusive group of marijuana growers to legally produce the crop, while issue 2 conflicts with 3 in that it prohibits anyone from using the Ohio constitution to form a monopoly. Most people know that to consume alcohol and then get behind the wheel of a car is very dangerous — not just for the driver and passengers, but for anyone else sharing the road. To date, there is not yet a technology used by law enforcement that can accurately detect cannabis impairment similar to alcohol breathalyzers.
