Watch Will Ferrell, Eddie Vedder, Chad Smith & More Cover Depeche Mode - For A Good Cause

It is a truth universally acknowledged that everything is better with cowbell.

That was very apparent at the Moore Theatre in Seattle on February 12. Will Ferrell, Brandi Carlisle, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer (and Will Ferrell doppelgänger) Chad Smith and Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready and other musicians were there for an event called One Classy Night. The event was a fundraiser for Cancer for College, a charity that "provides hope and inspiration to low-income, high achieving cancer survivors through the granting of college scholarships and by providing professional mentor services".

At the end of the evening, the musicians jammed and covered some of their favorite songs. Above, watch them play Depeche Mode's classic "Personal Jesus", featuring Ferrell on cowbell and a special guest appearance from Eddie Vedder, playing tambourine.

A recent study found that medical marijuana legalization was associated with a reduction in workplace fatalities. While many marijuana opponents would argue that legalizing cannabis is only going to lead to more workplace injuries, a new study says that simply isn't the case. In fact, legalizing medical marijuana could actually make workplaces safer.
