Watch Eddie Vedder Serenade The Chicago Cubs In Season Opener Video

If you thought Pearl Jam frontman - and diehard Chicago Cubs fan - Eddie Vedder got all the partying out of his system last October when his beloved Cubbies ended their 100+ year World Series drought, you were wrong. Vedder, who became a staple at Chicago playoff games last fall, serenaded the Cubs' Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo in a fake ad shot to promote the 2017 Major League Baseball season.

Vedder previously wrote the Cubs-themed song All the Way in 2008, so he was a natural choice for the fake ad, which features the Cubs looking for a new jingle to sell memorabilia. Check out Vedder's new baseball song and the behind-the-scenes featurette for the sketch.

In the old days, weed "branding" was defined by plastic baggies, pot leaf imagery, tie-dye, and in some cases, imagery of conventionally hot girls in bikinis or booty shorts. The messages back then revolved around weed as a stereotypically male stoner pastime, whilst alienating women, or those who didn't appreciate the strip club aesthetic in connection to their medicinal or recreational products. But in recent years, and especially in legal states, this has all begun to change.
