After a 13-year break from producing standup specials, Dave Chappelle is back with two new standup features on Netflix - 'The Age of Spin' and 'Deep in the Heart of Texas'. His new material has plenty of jokes about racism, sexuality and cannabis. In fact, he starts off 'Age of Spin' by clearing the air on allegations that he was drunk during an infamous standup set in Detroit back in 2015.

"I don't know if you ever saw on TMZ the big headline, 'Dave Chappelle, Drunk Onstage in Detroit,' " the comedian said to the crowd in Hollywood. "Well, if you saw it, I wasn't drunk. I had smoked some reefer with some rappers. I don't know if you know anything about rappers, but their weed is very strong. Stronger than what I was accustomed to."

He also corrected another false allegation made by TMZ. "The article goes on to say I was booed offstage, which is also incorrect. I was booed. I did not leave," he said proudly.
