"10 Days, 20 Orders," reads the front page of USA Today, referring to President Donald Trump's run of signing executive orders. Like many of us, late-night TV mainstay Stephen Colbert is concerned. "He's gotta be done, right?" he asks, "There can't be any more of these executive orders..." Oh, but there are - sort of.
That's when Jon Stewart walks onto the set, dressed in a ridiculously long red power tie and horrible hairpiece - "The president sets men's fashion", he says. From there, it's a nostalgic trip for fans of 'The Daily Show' as Stewart reads out a list of increasingly bizarre - and disturbingly believable - fake executive orders. For example, "China shall immediately and without hesitation send us their wall." And if you were wondering who will pay for it - "It's C.O.D., Mexico has to sign for it."
From there, the bit evolves into a classic Jon Stewart rant, updated for the age of Trump. Check out the video and enjoy.
