"Beyonce Was In My Space Taking Photos, That's Pretty Amazing" - Renowned Artist Baker's Son Talks Process, Popsicles and Pot

Keith Magruder is the Baker's Son, and artist who focuses on food. Growing up, Magruder developed a strong connection to food by helping his mother and grandmother bake in the kitchen, which lead him to discover more in food than what you eat. Magruder paints and creates installations of foods, which is now featured in its own room at the Museum of Ice Cream. His installation is called "The Popsicle Room", which Magruder says is  based on the times he spent at his grandmother's house while growing up. Now, people all across the world -- including celebrities from Beyonce to Kim Kardashian -- are visiting a symbolic recreation of his grandmother's house by going to his room at the Museum of Ice Cream.

On Flatbush Avenue, tucked amidst the nexus of four iconic Brooklyn neighborhoods (Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Fort Greene, and Prospect Heights), medical cannabis company Citiva opened up their newest location at the turn of the new year. Walking through the shiny glass door, you’re first struck by the sleek tidiness of the front lobby. Both the dispensary's resident pharmacist and receptionist greet visitors as they clear patients (as does any medical dispensary in the country) before allowing them through to the retail room.
