Two Toronto Cops Consumed Weed Edibles On The Job, Called For Assistance: Reports

According to reports out of Toronto, two police officers have been placed on suspension after allegedly eating marijuana edibles and calling for assistance.

CP24 reports that two Toronto police officers allegedly consumed edibles while on duty, and ended up calling for help when one of the officers got stuck in a tree somehow. The officer responding to the scene slipped and injured her head, according to the report.

It is not clear where the officers procured their edibles, but investigators are looking into if they were taken during a dispensary raid.

The lesson here: Make sure you know what to expect while taking edibles - and once you know that, don't take them while you're a police officer on duty.
