Sublime With Rome's Frontman Gives Us His Top 5 Punk Bands

In 2009, singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez began playing with the original Sublime band members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson, under the name Sublime With Rome. Before joining the band, Ramirez was a fan of the original Sublime, which he says was the first band he ever loved, eventually inspiring him to play music. Ramirez credits Sublime as his first push into the music industry, because once he heard them play, he wanted to learn how to music. After playing music for years, Ramirez wanted to focus all his time on playing, so he moved to Los Angeles, where he eventually met Wilson. The two quickly became friends and started playing together, which became the beginning of Sublime With Rome. Now, Ramirez is preparing to tour with the band that inspired him to first play music.
