Tommy Chong Turns 78

Tommy Chong recently turned 78 and we were invited to the birthday bash, which was also a launch party for Chong's Choice. Chong said he was grateful for the 700 people who gathered for the event at Mack Sennett Studios in Los Angeles.

"Next year, I'm going to start a new tradition," he told the crowd. "Instead of you giving me gifts, I'm going to give you gifts. I don't need anything. I've got everything I need," he said.

James Davis acted as MC and the entertainment included standup by Jon Rudnitsky from SNL, Erik Griffin from Workaholics and Luenell.

Civilized publisher and co-founder Derek Riedle was in attendance, and filed this video report from the scene.
