This Sex Trick Will Knock Your Socks Off (By Keeping Them On)

A new study suggests the next great sex toy is already stashed in your sock drawer… because it’s a pair of socks.

University of Groningen researchers asked one group of study participants to wear socks during sex, and another to go barefoot during the deed. What they found after examining the brain activity of both groups was that 80 percent of couples reached orgasm while wearing socks while only 50 percent managed to get there with bare feet.

The Dutch researchers surmised that wearing socks, in addition to keeping you toasty on cold winter nights, help the blood vessels in your feet dilate, enabling improved blood flow. This not only helps you fall asleep faster, it also gives you easier and more powerful orgasms.
