This Rock Legend Will Endorse Your Cannabis Product…for $5 Million

David Crosby - the legendary frontman for The Byrds and founding member of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young - wants to stamp his name on your cannabis product—if you can afford the hefty cost of his endorsement.

Last year, the dad rock icon partnered up with long time friend and brand licensing entrepreneur Steven Sponder to try and find the right brand to lend Crosby’s moustached face to. The name of this new licensing venture is “Mighty Croz” (you can visit the official website now).

Rather than going the route of Snoop Dogg, Tommy Chong and Willie Nelson and making his own strain of cannabis, the singer is opting to lend his name to the right bidder—with a price set at around $5 million.

He has stated that he is interested in marketing cannabis products targeting baby boomer consumers, as they are a large market with a proven interest in his brand and music.

There are no takers on the endorsement deal yet, but in the meantime, he ain’t going nowhere.

At the third annual Hall of Flowers (HOF), a business-to-business cannabis industry trade show, concentrate company Pluto soft-launched its first (and limited) edition vaporizer, the Hani Stone, in collaboration with the design and tech driven hardware company, Hanu Labs. Pluto emerges from the same minds who launched the mental health and wellness-oriented CBD brand Hilani. But Pluto aspires to move beyond the terrestrial realm of wellness, and transport consumers to a world unhindered by time constraints and abounding in a diversity of characters peacefully coexisting.
