This Arizona Couple's Wedding Proves 4/20 is a Day for Celebration

While 4/20 is mostly recognized as a day for celebrating cannabis culture, for one cannabis-loving couple, the day is even more special. Crystal Lara and Anthony Torres were married this past 4/20, holding their wedding ceremony at an Arizona marijuana dispensary at 4:20pm.

Cannabis has long been a part of their relationship and the couple said it is often used as a means to cope with the stresses they've experiences over the years. Two of their four children have disabilities and Torres is a veteran of the US Army. Lara herself works at the dispensary that hosted their wedding.

While Arizona law prevented the bride and groom from supplying friends and family who attended the celebration with cannabis-infused goodies, Lara did walk down the aisle with a cannabis bouquet.

You can see some of the highlights from Lara and Torres' 4/20 wedding in the video from Mashable below.

After a battery of tests and misdiagnoses, I was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease twelve years ago, and thus began a long battle with trial-and-error medical treatments. I changed my diet several times, even though my doctors didn’t seem confident it would change much (it didn’t), went to physical therapy for pain-related issues, and took so many different pharmaceuticals I can’t even begin to recall each and every one. My days were foggy due to side effects from pharmaceuticals, such as steroids, that made me feel worse than I did before I even took them.

Can we see some ID please?
