The Internet Is Going Wild For This 1865 Dating Profile

Dating is a disaster now but imagine what it would be like in 1860's... Well Max Roser, a researcher at the University of Oxford, found out when he discovered this personal ad from the 1860's.

First of all, this guy sounds like a real down-to-earth dude. His teeth are straight and his potatoes are bully. I don't know what else a girl could be looking for.

I truly hope he found someone up in Maine those years ago. And ladies, the next time you're on Tinder, think about this fellow when judging your potential suitors.

On Flatbush Avenue, tucked amidst the nexus of four iconic Brooklyn neighborhoods (Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Fort Greene, and Prospect Heights), medical cannabis company Citiva opened up their newest location at the turn of the new year. Walking through the shiny glass door, you’re first struck by the sleek tidiness of the front lobby. Both the dispensary's resident pharmacist and receptionist greet visitors as they clear patients (as does any medical dispensary in the country) before allowing them through to the retail room.
