The Trailer For Kevin Smith’s New 'Jay and Silent Bob Reboot' is Here

Fans of Kevin Smith’s View Askewniverse, rejoice: The trailer for the latest Jay and Silent Bob adventure is here.

The duo’s first movie since 2013’s ‘Jay & Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie’, ‘Reboot’ will be the 8th movie in Smith’s comedy universe, which also includes ‘Clerks’, ‘Mallrats’ and ‘Dogma’.

So what can we expect from 'Reboot'? Smith dropped some hints during a Q+A earlier this year:

In Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Jay and Silent Bob find out that Hollywood is making a reboot f that old movie that they had made about them, and they have to go cross the country to Hollywood to stop it all over again. it’s literally the same f---ing movie all over again. It’s a movie that makes fun of sequels and remakes and reboots while being all three at the same time.

As you might expect from another story of Jay (played by Jason Mewes) and his "hetero life-mate" Silent Bob (played by Smith himself), ‘Reboot’ looks to be filled with swears, pot smoke and plenty of famous faces. The trailer contains glimpses of Jason Lee, Fred Armisen, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Tommy Chong, Method Man and Redman, and many more.

Plus, there seems to be a Chris Hemsworth hologram.

Check out the trailer below, but be warned - it’s not safe for work.

‘Jay and Silent Bob Reboot’ hits theatres this October.

Latest.

California may have been the first in the country to pioneer cannabis law reform, but the Golden State is still struggling to eliminate the black market and sell affordable, legal pot. In 1996, California voters passed Prop 215 to legalize medical marijuana. In the years immediately following its passage, medical cannabis was a small and largely unregulated affair.
