The Outrageous Pot Scene That Was Cut From 'This Is The End'

It's hard to imagine that anything - let alone a pot scene - would be cut from the outrageous stoner comedy, This Is The End (2013). After all, the movie features James Franco getting cannibalized by Danny McBride (who turned 40 this week). Jonah Hill getting violated by Satan himself in a Rosemary's Baby spoof. And Michael Cera snorting coke off the moustache of Christopher Mintz-Plasse - a.k.a. McLovin from Superbad.

So the film's definitely not G-rated.

But there was one scene that co-writers/co-directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg thought was just too much. In an end credit scene following the [SPOILER ALERT] deaths of the main characters, Franco and McBride reunite in hell to split a joint...with Adolf Hitler. Yep, they had a smoking sesh with the most deplorable dictator in human history. And audiences never saw it because it was cut from the script before filming.

But at least we still have McBride's epic intro scene. The ultimate wake-and-bake montage set to Cypress Hill's 1993 hit, When the Shit Goes Down.

For cannabis enthusiasts living in adult use states, long gone are the days of sneaking around with a dime bag in a coat pocket and worrying about whether the neighbors know you’ve got weed. But the sad truth is that, for millions of Americans living in prohibition or restrictive medical-only states, accessing safe and regulated cannabis is still a problem. But does that mean that those living without access to the regulated market are abstaining from cannabis altogether?
