The “Oh, Hello” Show Says Oh, Hello To Netflix

Nick Kroll and John Mulaney’s characters Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland made their first appearance on Nick Kroll’s show “Kroll Show” as two old-timers on a mission to “prahnk” people into eating enormous tuna sandwiches. Last year, these characters moved to New York City and made their mark on Broadway in over 100 performances with the “Oh, Hello” show. Now, Netflix is adding their show to the line of comedy specials it has in its library. The special will release on the streaming service on June 13 and will likely feature footage from two taped performances from January 19 and 20.

Greece is a small and picturesque country, occupying an Alabama-sized 50,000 square miles of mountainous terrain replete with thousands of islands, age-old ruins, and the longest coastline along the Mediterranean Sea. It is home to many ancient traditions that span centuries, like the theatrical art forms of drama, tragedy, and satire that were born there to honor Dionysus, the Greek god of wine, fertility, madness, and ecstasy. Greece is also also the birthplace of direct democracy, a form of government which continues to this day.
