The Lion King Wants A Live-Action Beyoncé

Jon Favreau is directing the new “The Lion King” live-action reboot and he wants Beyoncé. Although the film does not yet have a release date, Donald Glover and James Earl Jones are attached as Simba and Mufasa. Now, they’re hoping Beyoncé will join the cast and voice the role of Nala, Simba’s childhood friend, wife, and Queen of the Pride Lands. Though Beyoncé just announced she is pregnant with twins, Favreau and the studio are willing to accommodate to her schedule. They are also willing to expand her character to include more songs since Nala is a relatively smaller role.

After a battery of tests and misdiagnoses, I was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease twelve years ago, and thus began a long battle with trial-and-error medical treatments. I changed my diet several times, even though my doctors didn’t seem confident it would change much (it didn’t), went to physical therapy for pain-related issues, and took so many different pharmaceuticals I can’t even begin to recall each and every one. My days were foggy due to side effects from pharmaceuticals, such as steroids, that made me feel worse than I did before I even took them.
