The Donald Trump Robot at Disney's Hall of Presidents is Absolutely Horrifying

Since 1993, Disney World has worked closely with the sitting administration to produce close replicas of the current president for the famous Hall of Presidents. Over the past few months, the park has been working hard to include the 45th president, Donald Trump in the attraction. Now, the exhibit and the 25-minute show will include a life-size robo-version of the current president in a key speaking role, despite previous efforts to stop animatronic Trump from talking, “The Magic Kingdom at Disney World is a place specifically designed for the enjoyment of children and families. Therefore, it is not an appropriate place for a Donald Trump speech. We ask that Walt Disney World take a stand against divisive and hurtful rhetoric.”

After a delay in the re-opening of the Hall of Presidents, the attraction is now officially running with the current president fully speaking, “Above all, to be American is to be an optimist — to believe that we can always do better — and that the best days of our great nation are still ahead of us,” he says. The park recorded Trump and worked closely with his administration to successfully introduce his bot.

After a battery of tests and misdiagnoses, I was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease twelve years ago, and thus began a long battle with trial-and-error medical treatments. I changed my diet several times, even though my doctors didn’t seem confident it would change much (it didn’t), went to physical therapy for pain-related issues, and took so many different pharmaceuticals I can’t even begin to recall each and every one. My days were foggy due to side effects from pharmaceuticals, such as steroids, that made me feel worse than I did before I even took them.
