'The Disaster Artist' Could Turn 'The Room' Into An Oscar Contender

If you've seen 'The Room', you're probably already excited for 'The Disaster Artist', the based-on-a-true-story comedy about the making of the 21st century's first true trash classic.

Ah yes. 'The Disaster Artist' is being screened at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. To commemorate the occasion, a new trailer has been released, showing the clearest look yet at the film. Starring James Franco (who directs the film, and stars as auteur Tommy Wiseau), Dave Franco, Seth Rogen, and a whole bevy of other familiar Hollywood faces, the movie is surprisingly being touted as an awards contender.

'The Disaster Artist' hits theatres in December. Until then, I'll just be revisiting my favorite clips from 'The Room' - like this one:
