Sunday Morning Is Sexual Prime Time, According To A New Study

Brunch isn’t the only thing you should indulge in on Sunday morning, suggests a new study.

Sunday at 9 a.m. is the prime time for having sex, according to a survey of 2,000 people in long-term relationships.

“It’s all too easy for sex to slip into a robotic routine, especially in long-term relationships,” said journalist and sex educator Alix Fox in response to the study, conducted by British store Superdrug.

“I’m not at all surprised that Sunday mornings are such a popular slot for sexiness: people are more relaxed, and have more time on their hands.”

While early Sunday was voted most popular for copulation, Saturday as a whole was found to be the best day for getting down, with 11:30 a.m., 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. polling exceptionally well.

Weekdays, on the other hand, were not so in demand. Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. or 9 p.m. proved the least popular for doing the dirty.

As for pre-work relations, reception was relatively apathetic, with Monday at 8 a.m. and Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. polling poorly.

Best to wait till the weekend, it seems. We hate to encourage setting your alarm for a Sunday morning, but it’s safe to say the rewards may make up for a few yawns later in the day.

A cannabis-derived drug will be tested in the UK as a treatment for two lesser-known symptoms of Alzheimer's disease: aggressive behavior and agitation. Alzheimer's disease is best known for the way it erodes a person's memory. However, roughly half of the 850,000 Alzheimer patients in the UK also experience emotional and behavioral symptoms, such as feelings of agitation and aggression.
