Sublime With Rome Frontman Lists Weed Slang Terms

Growing up, singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez was a fan of Sublime, which he says was the first band he ever loved, so much that their songs inspired him to first play music. Once he heard Sublime's unique sound, which combines all the elements of music that he personally likes, Ramirez wanted to learn how to play the guitar. Now, as he plays with Sublime With Rome cannabis inspires a lot of Ramirez's music. Most times you see Ramirez he's either rolling a joint or smoking one, because he says it's part of his life, "It's become political, but it's always been lifestyle."  When Ramirez is touring all across the world with the band, they're smoking cannabis, so Ramirez is certainly an expert in weed slang terms.

Latest.

Few other entrepreneurs in the cannabis space have their hands in quite as many ventures as Lorne Gertner. Currently dubbed the "godfather of the Canadian cannabis industry," Gertner told Civilized, "If we could live through normalization, we could change the world." Hailing from the fashion industry, this Toronto native says he's on a mission to "make the world a better place through cannabis and design excellence." The only catch is, well, normalizing cannabis — and that's where Gertner's keen eye for style comes in. "In the old days, you were going to be different or you were going to be normal," said Thom Antonio, Gertner's friend, creative director, and collaborator of 35 years.
