Stormy Daniels Crashes SNL, Calls For Trump's Resignation

'Saturday Night Live' had no shortage of surprise cameos during yesterday's cold open. Ben Stiller reprised his role as Trump attorney Michael Cohen while Jimmy Fallon returned to Studio 8H to play Jared Kushner, Scarlett Johansson appeared as Ivanka Trump, and Martin Short portrayed Trump's doctor Harold Bornstein. But Stormy Daniels stole the show by appearing as herself and calling for Trump's resignation.

When Trump (played once again by Alec Baldwin) asked Stormy what she wanted to put their alleged affair to rest, her response was short and blunt: "A resignation." Joking or not, that may be the very first time that someone has called for a sitting president to resign (unless you count Chevy Chase's many pratfalls as a slapstick call for Gerald Ford's resignation).

Daniels also mocked the allegation that her lawsuits against Trump are all an act.

"I work in adult films, we're not really known for our acting," she said.

Then she wrapped up her cameo with a threat. "Sorry, Donald, I know you don't believe in climate change, but a storm's a-coming, baby."

Late last year, Michigan became the first midwestern state to legalize adult recreational cannabis use. Unfortunately, Michigan is still figuring out the rules for recreational cannabis sales, which means you can’t actually purchase any yet. While those rules are expected by June, a new report paints a rosy picture of the future of legal recreational cannabis in Michigan and the midwest.
