Given the popularity of Star Wars, it's no surprise that the franchise has seven marijuana strains named in its honor. But many characters, locations and props from George Lucas' space saga that haven't been honored with a marijuana strain. Yet.

To celebrate the fifth annual Star Wars Day (May the Fourth Be With You), here are six Star Wars strains that we'd like to see. If you're into genetics, feel free to get working on breeding these buds (as long as you promise to share them with us).

1. Obi Wan-Kush-OG

Since Yoda has a strain named after him, we thought it was only fair to pay a marijuana tribute to the other great Jedi Master from the original trilogy. Obi Wan Kush-OG is a relaxing hybrid that promotes focus and concentration. Perfect for conning your way past a checkpoint in Mos Eisley.

2. Lightsaber

Like the weapon of choice among Jedi Knights and Sith Lords, Lightsaber glows blue or red. "A more elegant strain for a more civilized age," as old Ben Kenobi might say if he offered Luke this strain along with its namesake in "A New Hope" (1977). But be careful while handling this strain or you might lose a limb.

3. Chewie OG

This musky strain grown from the soil of Chewbacca's home planet of Kashyyyk is as dank as a wet wookie. Just don't say that to Chewie's face.

4. Hoth

Frosty and white like the landscape of the rebel base in "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980), Hoth is best enjoyed inside the warm belly of a tauntaun or while hanging out in a wampa lair. But beware: Hoth will give you a ravenous case of the munchies.

5. Cloud City Sticky

Don't let this light, cerebral sativa fool you. It's packed with a treacherous amount of the dark side. But as Billy Dee Williams would say, "It works every time."

6. Ganja the Hutt

We're not sure what strain Jabba smoked in "Return of the Jedi" (1983), but there's no doubt it is some of Tatooine's finest. Hopefully it didn't get gobbled up by the Sarlacc.
