Sorry Everyone - Rihanna Isn't Launching A Line Of Cannabis Products

From Snoop Dogg to Willie Nelson, celebrities are hopping on the cannabis bandwagon, launching brands of edibles, flower and more in legal states.

Earlier this week, rumors began swirling that pop megastar ( and weed enthusiast) Rihanna was set to launch her own cannabis brand, the perfectly named "MaRihanna." The story seems to have originated at a site called 18 Karat Reggae, and was swiftly picked up by celebrity news sites around the Web.

So is it true? Will you be able to enjoy cannabis that's been blessed by Ri-Ri herself? The answer, unfortunately, is no.

New York Magazine reached out to Rihanna's reps, who denied the claim. So while we may be able to find love in a hopeless place, we won't find Rihanna's stash at a local dispensary anytime soon.

Prime Minister-designate Boris Johnson has dabbled with illicit drugs in the past, but reforming the United Kingdom's antiquated cannabis laws probably won't be part of his future. On Monday it was officially announced that MP Boris Johnson had been elected as Leader of the Conservative Party, which means he will succeed outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May as the head of government. Johnson is expected to take a different approach to politics than his predecessor, but anyone hoping that he will push for national cannabis reform probably shouldn't hold their breath.
