Senator Schwartzenegger?

Arnold Schwarzenegger served two terms as California’s Governor from 2003 to 2011. Now, after hosting the newest “Celebrity Apprentice”, GOP political insiders are whispering about his return to politics. He would enter into the 2018 Senate race to replace Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein, who will be 85 years old and up for reelection. According to one veteran Republican strategist his entry into the race, “would give Arnold the stage to jam Trump for the next 16 months.” This position would also allow Schwarzenegger to disagree with the president on major issues including climate change and immigration. Although his spokesman didn’t rule out this Senate possibility, Schwarzenegger is currently focused on fighting for redistricting reform in Washington.
