Selena Gomez Explains Why She's a Huge Fan of Hooters (The Restaurant)

Pop singer Selena Gomez rose to fame as a Disney Channel star, so it's a bit surprising that one of her favorite restaurants is not so family-friendly. Apparently when Gomez isn't busy on set or in the recording studio, she likes to refuel at Hooters.

Gomez dished on her unexpected dining habits during a special edition of 'Hot Ones' that was staged during an episode of 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.'

"Can you explain the enduring allure of dining out at Hooters?" host Sean Evans asked.

Turns out, it all started with Gomez's dad desperately trying to go someplace where he might pick up more than a bar tab.

"Initially it was because my dad wanted to hit on hot girls," Gomez said told host Sean Evans. "But I enjoy the fried pickles, the shrimp, it's good."

Meanwhile, Fallon was practically dying after eating only his second wing. The frantic host cried, barked like a dog and downed milk that was served inside the Stanley Cup, which made a special appearance during the show. Check out the full segment in the clip above.
