Communications agency, KCSA Strategic Communications, announced today that it had acquired Salar Media Group (SMG).

As one of the leading public relation firms in the cannabis industry, SMG has represented brands such as cannabis tracking software company BioTrackTHC, ebbu, Tikun Olam USA and Julian Marley’s, son of late Reggae star Bob Marley, ultra-premium cannabis brand JuJu Royal.

Working across virtually every industry and representing a dozen public and private cannabis companies that account for nearly $1B in market cap and $100M in annual sales across the entire cannabis supply chain in Washington, Nevada, New Jersey, California and Colorado; KCSA has been a leading force in the world of public relations since its inception in 1969.

Some of KCSA's clients include Terra Tech, Kush Bottles, and Acreage Holdings; which recently added former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, John Boehner, and former Massachusetts Governor, Bill Weld, to its board of advisers.

Salarizadeh, will join KCSA as a managing partner and operate out of her offices in Los Angeles. SMG will pivot into becoming a media holding company and will include stakes in various cannabis media projects; such as the financial news site Green Market Report, cannabis entrepreneur tech platform AxisWire.com, The Cannabis Trend Report,  and the shows Wonder Women of Weed and Cannabiz & Company.
