Celebrate Pi Day With These Delectable Cannabis Pastries

Looking to put a cannabis twist on Pi Day? Check out this recipe for marijuana pie crust courtesy of RuffHouse Studios - a YouTube channel dedicated to cannabis culture.

Your host Matt takes you through the steps of making marijuana pie from scratch -- starting with the crust, which is infused with cannabutter. A lot of cannabutter. So you might want to take a puff and pass on this one if you're counting calories.infused with canna-butter. "This is a fat-full, delicious, homemade apple pie from scratch," Matt warns.

He doesn't go through the steps of infusing butter with cannabis, but don't worry: we've got a recipe for that

Once you've got your cannabutter ready, you can follow the rest of the recipe. Matt whips up an apple pie, but you can use his crust for whatever type of filling you prefer. "The good thing about this recipe is that you can make any type of pie you want and still get the marijuana because all the marijuana is in the pie crust," he says.

The recipe serves 8 and packs plenty of punch. "It's really got a lot of crust," Matt says. "But considering that's where all the marijuana is, I don't think anyone's really gonna complain about that."

Check it out.

For cannabis enthusiasts living in adult use states, long gone are the days of sneaking around with a dime bag in a coat pocket and worrying about whether the neighbors know you’ve got weed. But the sad truth is that, for millions of Americans living in prohibition or restrictive medical-only states, accessing safe and regulated cannabis is still a problem. But does that mean that those living without access to the regulated market are abstaining from cannabis altogether?
