Florida Woman Will Pay $50,000 To 'Repeatedly Pummel' Martin Shkreli

One lucky Florida woman will get to punch 'pharma bro' Martin Shkreli in the face.

The former hedge fund manager and Turing Pharmaceutical CEO - infamous for raising the price of the anti-parasitic drug Daraprim from $13.50 per pill to $750 - announced earlier this week that he would be auctioning off the opportunity to punch him in the face (or go on a date with him).

Twitter user @like_ether_ has opted for the former (is anyone surprised?)

Shkreli announced the winner of the auction - whose proceeds he says will go toward the young son of his late public relations manager, Mike Kulich - on Wednesday afternoon. Kulich died this weekend at age 29, and his son Tyler recently completed chemotherapy for acute lymphocytic leukemia.
