Would You Talk To Your Parents Like This About Marijuana?

In advance of Arizona's November vote to repeal cannabis prohibition, the Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol has launched a campaign dubbed Talk It Up, Arizona! with the aim of encouraging frank conversation with older voters, namely parents, about the benefits of marijuana.

"The best way to get people to reconsider their position on marijuana," according to the campaign, "is a personal note from someone they know, like you."

They've helpfully demonstrated the sort of conversation you might have with your folks in a TV spot, below. Whether people actually have the chutzpah to follow through with this sort of reasonable, rational approach, however, remains to be seen.
