Vine, Twitter's short video sharing service, shuts down for good on January 17. Last year, the company announced the social network would come to an end. In a post on Medium, the company vowed to do things in a way that respects Vine creators.
"Nothing is happening to the apps, website or your Vines today," Twitter said in a press release, "We value you, your Vines, and are going to do this the right way. You’ll be able to access and download your Vines."
Twitter also vowed to keep the website running, but inevitably as interest in the service wanes it will go the forgotten way of other web greats like search engine Lycos, Geocities, and Myspace. When it does, we'll miss these 11 perfect Vines in particular the most. Turn your sound up.
