As marijuana legalization takes off, many companies have created apps and other services to help benefit cannabis companies. But often it can be time-consuming for businesses to deal with all theses services. But a new app will fix all that.
Baker, a Customer Relationship Management and e-Commerce platform, is launching a new Application Programming Interface (API) that will help marijuana businesses navigate the many different tech and apps they use. The new API integrates several different functions into one platform, including point-of-sale systems, product reviews and digital signage providers.
The new platform is intended to both decrease time spent by the businesses and also improving customer satisfaction. For instance, dispensaries often have to list their available products on multiple different websites. But that process currently requires someone manually entering it into each website. Baker will allow them to upload it to all the sites at the same time, decreasing the time needed. But it also means that every site will have an updated catalog of products available, so a customer won't come to the store expecting to find a product only to find out it's not available because the dispensary didn't update a certain website.
The Baker platform will also provide dispensaries with data about how to attract customers and what aspects of their business are doing the best.
