'I Got This,' Morgan Freeman Said When Zach Braff Tried To Tell Him How To Act High

If there's anything more intimidating for a young director than working with a star like Michael Caine, it's having to explain to the screen legend what being high on marijuana is like. That's exactly what happened to Zach Braff on the set of 'Going in Style' (2017), which co-starred Morgan Freeman and Alan Arkin.

"In the movie they all get stoned, and so we're sitting around a table at rehearsal in the hotel room," Braff recalled in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel. "And when we get to the part where they get high, Michael Caine stops and he goes, 'You know, I don't remember if I've ever been high before. I think Richard Burton got me high once before. What's it feel like?'"

"So now I'm sitting there describing to Michael Caine what it feels like to be high," Braff explained. But the funniest moment came when he tried to rehash his explanation with Freeman.

"I got this," said Freeman, who has been out of the cannabis closet for years.

Ever since recreational cannabis was legalized for adult consumption across Canada in mid-October the industry has been struggling to meet demand. And that's not going to change anytime soon, according to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. In a recent interview, Trudeau admitted that the chronic cannabis supply shortages have been the biggest challenge the newly legalized industry has been facing.
