Microdosing Comes To The PAX Era

Popular vaporizer brand PAX has added new dosage settings to their line of Era vape pens. Controlled through their 'Session Control' app, PAX puts microdosing front and center and aims to help people tailor their experience.

In the world of cannabis, there is often the sentiment that more is better. But that mindset doesn't work for all of the ever-expanding population of cannabis consumers. With this in mind, PAX has decided to update their Session Control app to allow Era owners to determine just how big of a hit they want.

"Session Control makes the vaping experience more predictable for people, especially those who are new to cannabis," PAX CEO Bharat Vasan told Mashable.

Predictability is important, and it's an issue that has been increasingly front of mind as the cannabis industry becomes more mainstream. People want to know that if they have a puff at lunch time that it won't kill their productivity for the rest of the day. For this reason, Session Control now allows users to select from one of four dosage levels, from large down to micro—just enough to take the edge off, but not enough to make you feel stoned.

PAX is putting their focus on the ability for people to choose what kind of cannabis experience is right for them. That's something we can get behind.

After a battery of tests and misdiagnoses, I was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease twelve years ago, and thus began a long battle with trial-and-error medical treatments. I changed my diet several times, even though my doctors didn’t seem confident it would change much (it didn’t), went to physical therapy for pain-related issues, and took so many different pharmaceuticals I can’t even begin to recall each and every one. My days were foggy due to side effects from pharmaceuticals, such as steroids, that made me feel worse than I did before I even took them.
