Michael Moore Comments On Being A Potential Pipe Bomb Target

Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore has made himself his fair share of enemies over the years, including General Motors, gun lobbyists, Donald Trump, the American Healthcare system, and the alt-right. So, really, it came as no surprise to him that one of these folks had planned to bump him off recently.

During an interview on ‘Late Night’ Thursday, host Seth Meyers brought up the fact that an image of the Moore with a target over him was pasted to the van of thwarted alt-right pipe bomber Cesar Sayoc, which was discovered last week.

“Honestly, my first thought was—that’s a really good picture,” Moore joked.

He went on to say that after the van was discovered, the FBI came to his door to inform him that Sayoc had complied an “abundance of research” on the director, and that they had assumed that one of the bombs was intended for him, although they couldn’t find it.

“Then, the other FBI agent made some joke about the postal service,” he added.
