Meet The Scottish Folks Who Hated Trump Before It Became Popular

Donald Trump is officially one of the least popular presidents in U.S. history. But Scottish people have been hating on The Donald long before Americans jumped on the belligerent bandwagon. Earlier this week, Samantha Bee of Full Frontal posted a video report featuring some of Trump's most ardent Caledonian enemies.

Many of them became foes of The Donald around the time that he began plans to open a golf course in Scotland That's when farmer Michael Forbes ran afoul of Trump by refusing to sell his land for the putting project. "I sussed him out in ten seconds," Forbes told Full Frontal correspondent Amy Hoggart. "He was an asshole. The only regret I have is I didn't knock him on his arse when I met him."

You can imagine how well Trump took getting turned down. He quickly went before cameras and made personal attacks against Forbes, saying that he lived in a "pig-like atmosphere" on his land. But Forbes found the smear campaign funny. "I was actually laughing about it," he said. "I love pissing him off."

And that's the advice he has for Americans. "Keep pissing him off. And he'll crack up. And he'll end up in a padded cell."

Check out the video below for more of Trump's Scottish incursions, including the member of parliament that Trump tried to have punished -- on grounds of blasphemy. Seriously. Fair warning, though: the NSFW clip is like a haggis stuffed with cussing, including Scottish slurs like walloper and bawbag

For cannabis enthusiasts living in adult use states, long gone are the days of sneaking around with a dime bag in a coat pocket and worrying about whether the neighbors know you’ve got weed. But the sad truth is that, for millions of Americans living in prohibition or restrictive medical-only states, accessing safe and regulated cannabis is still a problem. But does that mean that those living without access to the regulated market are abstaining from cannabis altogether?
