Martin Shkreli Has Finally Gone Too Far

Martin Shkreli — loathed PharmaBro, inflator of drug prices, Twitter exile, gamer and hip hop enthusiast — may have finally taken one step too far... by stepping to the Wu.

You may remember that Shkreli was identified as the buyer of ‘Once Upon A Time In Shaolin’, a one-of-a-kind $2 million record by hip-hop legends the Wu-Tang Clan. Clan leader and producer RZA quickly distanced himself from Shkreli, saying that “the sale of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin was agreed upon in May [2015], well before Martin Shkreli’s business practices came to light. We decided to give a significant portion of the proceeds to charity.” Also, Ghostface Killah called him a “shithead”.

Now Shkreli has fired back, starting an eBay page to sell off ‘Once Upon A Time In Shaolin’. He made the announcement on Facebook, stating simply, "I am selling the Wu-Tang Clan album. Fuck Wu-Tang”.

How will the RZA, the GZA, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Ghostface Killah, the Method Man, Raekwon the Chef, Masta Killa and the rest of the Clan respond? Only time will tell. But Shkreli would do well to heed their advice and protect his neck:
