Martha Stewart Says She's Tried Marijuana Edibles, But Doesn't Sound Like a Huge Fan

Martha Stewart is one of the most famous women in the culinary world, so her opinion means a lot to many people. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like she's going to recommend edibles to her fans any time soon.

Stewart went on the Wendy Williams Show this morning when the topic of marijuana came up. Stewart hosts Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party on VH! along side Snoop Dogg, so Williams asked about whether Martha's ever smoked up with the rapper at his home. While Stewart says she passes if offered anything to smoke, she did admit to using edibles. Unfortunately, she didn't sound like much of a fan.

"I've tried," Stewart said when Williams asked about using edibles. "What’s an edible? It’s like a little gummy bear or something. They're fine."

Sounds like Stewart hasn't tried any good edibles. All she would need to do is use one of her many recipes for brownies or whatever and just use cannabutter. She'd have to like those, unless she screwed up her own recipe.

And it's not like she doesn't know how to make pot brownies. Stewart once had Snoop on one of her older cooking shows, and the two made brownies and they said they would put in the "stuff" in later. So obviously she knows how, she just hasn't tried them.

Now we need to convince Martha Stewart to create a cannabis-themed cooking show. That'll help attract older people to the marijuana legalization cause!

Latest.

Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) isn't the most vocal cannabis advocate on the 2020 presidential campaign trail, but you shouldn't take that as a lack of support for marijuana legalization. Unlike many of the top contenders for the upcoming Democratic primaries, Ryan hasn't filed any of his own cannabis legalization bills.
