Marijuana's effects on public health is one of the biggest unknowns in cannabis research. When one study is published, another one is usually also published completely contradicting the first. For instance, a recent study on marijuana and its connection to cardiovascular health. The study revealed that marijuana use increases the risk of a stroke and cardiovascular disease. However, other more detailed and longer studies revealed the opposite. They have found no relationship between marijuana and cardiovascular health. This confusion between studies is caused by the limitations enforced on marijuana research. Hopefully with legalization rising, more marijuana studies will be conducted.
