Some people have made a bucket list, a series of things or places they want to experience before they “kick the bucket.” For some people that means traveling to an exotic place, for others it means skydiving. But for some people a bucket list might just mean finding some dank weed.
1. Malawi Gold
Malawi Gold is probably the rarest strain in the world. It’s only able to grow in Malawi (as the name suggests) and can grow as high as two feet. If you’re looking for an incredibly rare strain, this is it.
2. Idukki Gold
Idukki Gold is also an incredibly rare marijuana strain that’s grown in the Indian state of Kerala, and is more potent than the rest of the strains grown in the country. However police crackdowns on illegal cannabis in Kerala have made it difficult to find this strain.
3. Fruity Pebbles OG
Fruity Pebbles OG is rare by design. Only a limited number of seeds were created of this hybrid between Granddaddy Purple, Green Ribbon and Tahoe Alien. Some seeds for this strain sell for more than $1000 per pack. This will probably be the hardest one on your bucket list to find.
4. Bruce Banner
Bruce Banner is one of the most powerful strains available, and often tests for more than 30 percent THC. But it’s fairly hard to find and sells out whenever it becomes available. But if you’re looking for the most powerful high imaginable, this is the strain you’ll want.
5. Lamb’s Breath
Lamb’s Breath, also known as Lamb’s Bread, is known to be one of Bob Marley’s favorite strains of marijuana. So you need to know what Marley considered to be the best cannabis available.
6. Oaxacan Highland
This Mexican strain was actually quite popular in the 1960’s and 1970’s, but has largely left the market. However, it’s known for producing some of the most powerful psychedelic experiences of any cannabis strain, with some saying it even rivals LSD and magic mushrooms. That sounds like a once in a lifetime experience.
7. Roadkill Skunk
If the name sounds unappealing to you, that’s the point! Roadkill Skunk has a ridiculously pungent smell, with some saying it’s the stinkiest strain ever. It’s also pretty rare, but you know you need at least one sniff of this.
8. Greek Kalamata
Greece isn’t known for producing much cannabis, considering the country’s harsh drug laws. However, they do have a famous strain called Greek Kalamata that dates all the way back to 1100 A.D. So if you want to know what people smoked 900 years ago, this is the strain for you.
