MTV Enlists Lil Yachty To Star In Sequel To 'How High'

Good news for those of you out there who’ve been clamoring for a sequel to Method Man and Redman’s 2001 cult stoner comedy 'How High'. MTV just announced they will be doing ‘How High 2.’ This time, starring Lil Yachty.

Variety reports the film will star Yachty in his first starring role as Roger, the brother of one of the protagonists from the original film. This time, rather than taking on higher education, the film will go after the startup community à la 'Silicon Valley'…only with pot.

It remains to be seen as to whether or not the "Broccoli" rapper will have the same on-screen charm or acting chops of Method or Red.

But if the soundtrack is even half as good, consider us all in.

Though it can be hard to follow the the roller coaster ride that is keeping up with the cannabis stock market, Thomas George of Grizzle breaks it down for us simply and clearly. In the latest episode of All Time Highs, we get the lowdown on Aurora, one of the most expensive cannabis stocks, an update on Canopy's earnings, and intel on Aphria's past fraud allegations. Now in the clear, it may only be a matter of time before Aphria catches up.
