This Monday there will be a major solar eclipse that will be visible in many parts of the United States of America. In ancient times, people thought eclipses were omens heralding in the end of the world. And considering who the president of the United States is today, that may be true. But we now know more about solar eclipses than our ancestors. However, I'm guessing not many people could explain what actually happens during an eclipse.
To help explain this phenomenon, Jimmy Kimmel brought an eight-year-old science genius to his show to explain the solar eclipse.
Now just remember to stare right into the sun on Monday!
