Kenan Thompson To Make SNL History

Now, he’s approaching a record 15 seasons on SNL, making history as the longest-running cast member just ahead of the current record-holder, Darrell Hammond. Hammond finally decided to end his run when he didn’t get a role playing anyone in the Obama administration. Thompson struggled his first few years on the show, but finally thrived during his sixth season in 2009 with the introduction of the sketch “What Up With That”. The sketch started when Will Forte yelled, “It’s ‘What’s Up With That!’ Tackling the issues of today with soul. Now, here’s your host: Diondre Cole!”
