John Oliver Attempts To Take Down The FCC… Again

Three years ago, during the taping of the fifth episode of “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver”,  John Oliver dedicated the entire show to discussing net neutrality. At the time, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) was looking to regulate internet usage, but its website crashed after Oliver called on his audience to flood it with comments. Now, Oliver is back at it again, dedicating another episode to net neutrality. Donald Trump’s White House, including the man he appointed as head of FCC, Ajit Pai, announced plans to roll back on net neutrality rules. Oliver responded by again, calling on his viewers to flood the FCC’s website with comments to preserve net neutrality.

Latest.

One of the most annoying things on the internet is when a website blocks content from people who are trying to see their content. This can come in many forms but the most annoying one, by far, is when you are forced to sign up before you can read anything. I can't think of any reason why you would actually sign up, unless the information you were looking for was going to save your life.
