Ja Rule’s Fyre Festival Fails In The Bahamas

Ja Rule has been organizing and promoting his luxury music festival, Fyre Festival, for months on social media promising “two transformative weekends” on a remote and private island in the Bahamas. Did we mention the island was once owned by Pablo Escobar? When festival-goers arrived, they were standing on a festival ground that was weeks away from being ready. They were expecting luxury sleeping accommodations, but tents were still in their boxes and there were very few festival staff to help. Also, the promised gourmet food was a cheese sandwich and side salad, because apparently the agreement with the company catering the event had been terminated. The festival team posted a statement apologizing to festival-goers and expressing their immediate concern to get everyone home safely.

As medical marijuana continues to gain ground across the US, more and more colleges are adding cannabis to their curriculum. In fact, more than half of America's pharmaceutical schools (62 percent) now teach students about medical marijuana according to a new survey conducted by researchers from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Pharmacy. "With more states legalizing medical marijuana, student pharmacists must be prepared to effectively care for their patients who may use medical marijuana alone or in combination with prescription or over-the-counter medications," the study's authors wrote.
